I have a drawer full of USB-A to USB-C cables by now, but find myself needing USB-C to USB-C more over time and half the cables I've tried either charge slowly (or not at all), or fail to establish a data connection. This one has just worked while remaining soft and durable, and the base isn't too chunky to get blocked by my iPad case.
Decent space gray USB-C 2.0 cable that lasts over the years
If you want a USB-C cable with USB 2.0 connectivity that's close in space gray color match to your MacBook and Drop ALT/CTRL keyboards, look no further. I've had this cable for 3 years at this point and they still work like the day I bought them unlike some of the no-name brands that Amazon carries with ridiculous names like JSPFREE, IENORP.
I'm not rich enough to buy cheap products so I appreciate the baseline quality that comes with this cable for a little bit more in price.
Just know what you're buying though. This is basically a USB 2.0 cable with Type-C connectors. It supports USB-PD only up to 15W (Drop even states 2.4A on the product details which is the max allowed by USB 2.0 without the USB-PD standard) which is fine if you're charging a phone or an iPad but not if you want to charge a laptop over USB-C.
